We wanted to extend our stay in Mussorie for a couple more days but unfortunately our travel itinerary gave no room. One of the disadvantages of pre-planned and packaged vacations.
On returning to Delhi, we visited some of the tourist hotspots in the capital like the India Gate, Janpath, the majestic Parliament house and the Raj Bhavan. I was disappointed to give a miss to the famous Jantar-Mantar, a dream child of the first Prime Minister of Independent India, Jawaharlal Nehru to popularize science among the youth and children.
